This game is nothing like that movie. That said... if you played Pirates of the Burning Sea and wanted a more realistic flashier version... then get this.

http://i.imgur.com/iSdFzz1.jpg (Suprise vs Constitution) - Acheron, the french ship in master and commander is actually a slightly modified CGI version of the Constitution.

Depends, i suggest you read the reviews and watch some gameplay videos of the game before you choose to buy it. :)
