to block others joining your missions?

because me and my friend really capable of destroying 1 simple ship as 2 players, or capture it. but each time we start our mission, its getting stormed by couple of our nation's ships. and we ending having low exp and gold, because exp/gold based on
damage you deal on enemy ship/sails/crew/shipkills.

even sometimes very high tier allied ships joining in our match. its really not very time/exp-gold efficent for my group.

Nope. Once a battle opens, anyone can join it for a few minutes.

Always keep this in mind when you're initiating a battle - it also means people can assist you/them if it's a PvP battle somewhere.

Basically your best bet is to do missions away from the capitals - Less new players who are around to join, and most of those who are won't bother unless it's PvP.

On the other hands - If you finish a missions faster, you can pick a new one faster. No matter how many people invite themselves to the battle, you'll always get the reward for the mission itself.

I was boarding 2 ships in my own missions, but some A-hole was also in and rammed me while I was boarding, interrupting it and stole the ship, IN MY OWN MISSION!

Second time I was boarding I had to try again because only 9 crew where left but that other guy IN MY MISSION destroyed the ship infront o my nose!

The first guy did it on purpose btw, he wanted to board it while I did all the damage to it in my own mission and steal the ship, which he succeed but about the other guy I'm not sure, a lot of new players that don't know everything about the game yet.

Also most players don't even pay attention to chat.

okay okay, it seems some people intentionally joining to troll or something, and they keep going to. only option available to go north for me and my friend. we already keep seeing players less and less

and it doesnt matter wherever we go, the mission gonna be generated according to our rank, its just its being long voyage. thats all.

I was actaully in my own mission and me and a friend actaully CAPTURED the ship but some morons continued to shoot it and sunk the captured ship!

How can you tell someone has entered your battle and not some NPC? Or do NPC's not join your battle?

A couple of times there was another one with me on a mission battle, but I wasn't sure if it was a player or not. Can you tell it by the name in the tab menu or something else?
