Changing Faction??
I've noticed I can only create one character on the PVP EU server. CUrrently I am GB. I have some buddies that might play but want to go a different faction. If I delete my current toon and start a new one, will I lose all the XP that I currently have? I really dont want to have to start over again atm

No, experience is linked to Steam account, so you will have the same rank and craft progression on new character

Well, hire a spy in that nation that can hold your gear. It is nowhere fun to start over from Cutter, AND ESPECIALLY AFTER 9.7!!!! No longer possible to start by capping your fancy snow,connie/3rd rate

Nope, start all over again in your puny cutter. That is unless you find someone that can keep his words.

After 9.7 you can pick any mission level, so it is probably not that hard as it was before if you didn't want to hunt a trader ship first

thanks for the reply, my ship does not bother me in the slightest.

no - gold and other stuff like ships, modules and resources are character only and not linked to Steam account

Store all your stuff in a free port. Go pirate. Lose nothing.

(in case you were wondering why pirate population has grown so much)

you will loose all bp if you are crafter beside brig, snow and frigate

You don't need to delete to go pirate, just attack a friendly. If you have all your stuff stashed ina free port you can still access it.

Captain, in case you want to become a pirate, move all your stuff to a free town then attack someone from your nation (besides smugglers) to become a pirate, you will not lose anything by this way.
If you want to roll into another Nation, move your stuff to a free town or a neutral town and give all the stuff to a friend /a person you trust, delete your character and take back the stuff with the new character
