F2P and Multiple accounts
While I am glad about the F2P limited version that is coming and excited about the prospect of new players joining the game.

I think existing players should prepare ourselves for the fact that once this F2P is online then any one of us can create any number of F2P accounts and Characters for various Tasks.

I am expecting that the Limited Version will only give access to certain Ships maybe only 7th and 6th rated, maybe not give rights to build buildings, but only permit market participation, maybe also some limits of Trade Goods Tonnage per day.

A neat feature could be to prevent F2P players from Direct Trade with other accounts this way possible abuse can be limited.

The only concern here is Market Inflation. If people can use F2P accounts to generate even more Reals, then this will cause a hike on prices for many things, which is actually one of the biggest issues right now.

It costs about 50k Reals to assemble one of the encyclopedias in the Academy, yet you have books for some recipes going for 11 million and encyclopedias posted at 22 million Reals in the market... this kind of price gauging and extortion should not be supported, nor is it any indication of a healthy market. A healthy market is characterized by Volume Traded not by Unique Price of items.

And with F2P it could become even worse, and so I think we should all be ready and hope that the Devs have forseen these possibilities things too.

The impact on the Economy can be beneficial for all or it can be desastrous if not proper care taken.

We shall see. An influx of new players is a good thing. There will be adjustments to be made, including adjusting to inflation.

We help new players at NavalGaming.com learn the game.

Nah, you can basically buy the game for peanuts already. So F2P won't change anything.

The GAME IS NOT GOING F2P people.
The so-called F2P *version* is just a demo.

Stop speculating any kind of changes for the F2P (which is not a real F2P anyway). Having a demo version changes nothing in the main game.
