The tutorial final exams are frustrating but worth doing. you get a good amount of repairs and a couple nice things.
Just remember to enter the exams from your main port of operation as on completion the rewards all go to that warehouse.
once on the big blue screen which has not been updated with a new UI yet, look at top it should name a port that you are located in per your nation.
You have a warehouse there. you may or may not have gold listed at the top.
if you see redeemables with a number click o nthat and see what is there. maybe a useful item.
At first what you want to do is click on shop and buy a basic cutter. its free. no cost to repair etc. and you clic on it so iyt is highlighted after purchase then hit sail.
You will be outside at the dock. there is a help channel global channel and a nation channet of chat. there is a small plus sign to the right at top of chat box. click on it to see other channel options you can open.
Have fun!!
I had a cutter in my port after installing the game, so not sure if its a bad install or not. I tried selling that one and the one I bought (after your recommendation) and then rebuying so I'd only got one new one in Port. Still no luck. There is just no Sail option anywhere.
I've also tried rescaling the screen resolution, since the typefaces aren't fitting very well. Rescaling helps the text fit a little better, but there is no sail button.
Twelvefield what you need to do is hit the Skip button when on the Tutorial page (with the different tutorial types) this then tells you you can go back and try them again etc, just confirm and presto the Sail button appears.
