Has open sea speed changed yet?
So I havent played in a while. I love the game. But traveling on open sea and doing eco etc, just took to much time. And as a family man I just dont have that time to pit into the game if traveling on open sea takes so much time. But someone told me they changed that. So I wonder if this is true, and how much of a difference is it compared to before IF it changed. Thx.

Silent Hunter had a speed feature that allowed you to speed up travel until any ship was within a certain range.. then it set back to normal. Would something along those lines work?

u cant do this in an online game to speed up time cause when u change the time speed the others has to be synchronised then to match up with ya....

No I just wanted open sea travel to be faster. Like it was in for instance PotBS. Then if you went into a instacned combat. The speed was "normal".

we need to ♥♥♥♥♥ about this more. Otherwise nothing will change. Speeds have been bumped a bit but not nearly enough. It's stil a freaking screensaver mechanic.

Still takes a while to get from place to place. They took away the option to 'teleport' ships to port or to outposts, upside, neutral ports are not super fortresses for people to lurk out of and attack to their advantage/enter port when disadvantaged.

BAD news is they added ship knowledge slots and you have to unlock ship type by ship type...takes as much experience points to fully unlock 2 different types of 4th rate ships as it takes to get to rear admiral, and the points required are even higher for higher rated ships.

Player numbers are decreasing at a fast rate. IF you have the game already, by all means jump in and see what you think, if you're thinking of getting the game, I'd wait until the developers fix it to where more people are staying than leaving. They ARE trying to fix the game, unfortunately, the changes they've been making so far have been confirming my reasons for leaving the game. Still, they keep working on it and I keep hoping they will succeed.

I got the game already. I wanna come back and play it if they would do something bout open sea travelling. Seems like I might have to wait a bit more til I fully dedicate me to the game. Might login and check it out still. But can't go "all in" if travelling on open sea takes "ages".

What? In PotBS every1 speed up on open sea. It worked perfectly. Then when a fight occured, it went into a instance, and speed was "normal". In PotBS the DEVs knew that people didnt want to dedicate hours to travel from one place to the other. Naval Action has taken almost EVERYTHING from PotBS. They need to take that part from PotBS to N.A as well.

i honestly wouldn´t want the SPEED to be enhanced, don´t wanna feel like sitting in a patrol boat. I´d much prefere if the open world scale gets reduced, maybe by 1.5X (random number)... shorter trips, same feeling of a sailing vessel... Instances could still be 1:1 like now of course...

That could work as well. As long as open sea travel takes less time.

SRY, but NOT in MY Game* Thanks but NO thanks*
Rather mind new developing on other/better additions*

It's not YOUR game. Sry... And many peeps don't play N.A due to the fact it takes to much time to get from one place to another.

Well,I am not interested in Your status nor opinion.
as far as speed concerns im sure the devs have plenty of other things to add and tweak.

Im pretty sure they want more players to join and please the players they have. U are one of very few that actually love to sail for hours without doing ♥♥♥♥ ingame.
