Sad thing is i would have gladly bough any premium ship they had to offer, now, i highly doubt it.
It's unfortunate, this game had so much more potential beyond a PVE AOS trading/crafting game.
Now just get ready for the guys claiming the population is low until the next patch/update.
To bad they don't realize if the game was heading in the right direction with these updates, players would stay instead of leaving again after a week.
To bad they are not playing Naval Action. There is about 4600+ that disagree with you. Otherwise they would still be playing.
but you do talk a good game.

I really feel one of the biggest issues is there is no where near enough population to support the expanse of O.W. I doubt there will ever be the population needed.
For example I am interested with this project since day 1. I love Age of Sails and PvP. I didn't buy it yet because I wanted to see the direction, will it be a niche game, will they simplify things, will they focus on pvp or pve and will bugs get fixed.
I will buy it for sure one day (at the worst case at release). And I will bring my PvP friends also. And I am sure that I am not the only person in this situation. So I just wanted to say there are many PvP players lurking around. I doubt this game will have a population problem PvP wise in future.
the colours/the mists and the day/night that was all in a cutter whilst i was exploring and learning the game the detail on the ships /land ocean as i said a work of art IMO.
What part of "Is a Sailing game based on Age of Sails" didn't you understand? The game is not a match macker; is a sailing open world and PvP is part of it but not the only focus.
Edit: This is how you sound "I bought an age of sails game and I hate sailing"
This has been turned into an AOS FarmVille and will fail in less than a year after launch because of that.
You keep going back to the videos bro. A player can upload the content he or she wants, or are you saying they should upload the material you force them to show?.
If you want to upload a video where you spend two hours sailing, be my guess; but don't go around forcing others to do so because is what you want.
