I use the Endymion A lot for duels or battles against other frigates but I have trouble using it against trade shifts because of it's poor turning rate. Even with manual sailing sometimes it's difficult to make the tight turns you need to push up against the ship you're trying to board. .
If I had to choose one though I think surprise is your best bet
Surprise and rennome are great ships, but for solo hunting i would prefer the Endymion, i guess.
Both are great ships it's just that I think the surprise is the best combination of everything. In the end, any frigate or corvette with Bow chasers will do the trick. I love the Essex, but without chasers, I rarely use it for capping traders. I use it for missions.
i absolutely agree, but the Endymion is the fastest ship and can outrun even couple of rennos alone....that makes it to me the best solo ship....just put the right upgrades in to balance the weakness, like turning.
Of course everyone has its own style, but i honestly really loved the Surprise for solo, the renno or the other shps i fnd them good , but nothing really maked me happy, the Endymion is for me almost the perfect ship, and imo the turning is balanced very good for that ship, because if it had better turning it would be unrealistic and OP, so gg dev's with this ship.
