Personally Im hoping for around TG1 amount of offices, or perhaps even more than that. Problem is a long time ago in those times, offices were probably way more complex than The Guild series, so Im sure the developers want to have as much variety as they can, while not adding any fictional things or too many things, meaning that they would need to do ALOT of research to find EVERY SINGLE political office from back then. I too saw the offices in the video, and personally, I wasnt too impressed, but Im sure Ill be happy with it when the game comes out.

chech gameplay videos, it shows political tree. i think there are 18 offices. my guess that each office wont have that much power like TG2.

Here's a screenshot of the offices btw, in case anyone's interested. https://i.imgur.com/H3obiBn.png

One thing I notice is that the lowest tier has some duplicate offices. With one from each section seemingly being a "council" version of the office. I assume this special variant will probably have some kind of special privileges or powers different from their colleagues of the same section.

And there is one office that could be considered "imperial", which is the Sovereign. Though that rank plays very differently in TG3. As attaining it is one of the victory conditions, so once you become the Sovereign you win the game (though you may keep playing afterwards).

The Sovereign is also the ruler of the entire map, and apparently comes with many responsibilities and powers. Including living in the castle, raising taxes, maintaining relations with the King, complete immunity, and keeping the general area stable and prosperous. And you can be deposed if you suck at your job. It also does NOT carry over to your heirs unless they get elected to the position after your death.

Overall I'm pretty excited for the politics. More office holders means more interesting votes. And the neighborhoods and reputation systems could be very fun if done right.

Might as well be a screenshot of a political ladder of a small town and not of a larger city with additional offices.
