Just go play tekken 8 at this point

This game has
-Ugly asf animations
-Clunky throws
-Outdated models
-No satisfying "Hitstun" effects

Feels like this game was marketed towards the senior citizens who couldn't properly play tekken 8 because it was too fast paced for their shiver me timbers fingers 🤣

Exactly! While I think Tekken 8 is going through a teething stage atm . But it will get a lot better as things are balanced. Ultimately, I think we live in a better world where both exist. Harada agrees too! He LOVES Virtua Fighter. Every single Tekken game has influence from VF... Even Tekken 8. I don't mean to say tekken should pay deference to Vf or anything, but these 2 series are TIED together, and that's cool, imo

Yep The OG Tekken 1 was worked on by a Ex VF dev as well, so Tekken's blood sweat and roots are in VF development.

I don't think it's necessarily many Tekken fans, but there are definitely a few who are trashing it repeatedly and loudly. They're annoying but I can take solace in the fact that we're keeping them away from the Tekken forums a bit.

Tekken 8 rage arts ruin it for me, Virtua fighter is great because its simple fighting whoever has the best skill and not press 1 button and auto combo like tekken.

Tekken is the one with floating feet and breathing hitbox issues that hit inconsistently..
Virtua Fighter auto centers opponent on launch for juggle optimization.
Throws in tekken are edited after mocap
VF stays pretty consistent with realism when it comes to throwing animations.
Hitstun can be mitigated in VF where Tekken you have to wait a 50/50..

Any pro who can keep up with REVO's flow would decimate in tekken 8 what you talking about..

If you think VF Revo was easier you got your ass whooped in game really early.

No, I dont play those offline modes. Regardless the point still stands as there are other achievements that show its not "less than 10%" as that guy thinks. "Play a total of 10 online battles of any kind." 71.4% , "Won a Ranked Match." 64.2%, "Won a Player Match." 48.5%.

Even in this game "Play 1 Ranked Match. Is your Kung-Fu enough? I've only just begun!" 39.3% and "Play 1 Room Match. A ninja conceals oneself... A ninja does not prefer... crowds." 18.9%. So saying less than 10% of people try online is just foolish.

Nah that game is awful too, i'd rather play Bloody Roar Xtreme on the gamecube or Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round which are 1000 times better than Tekken 8 and this joke
