Will it have Denuvo?
Will this game have Denuvo DRM
Considering it’s published by Sega and pretty much all new titles published by them incorporate it

Considering Sega previous releases, probably.
It really pains me to ditch this game if this is really the case. If it doesn't have it, then it is day-1 preorder.

I hope not. I'm also hoping there's no Denuvo. I will definitely buy this day one if there is no Denuvo.

The Store Page hasn’t listed it yet, maybe it wont have it this time
Considering this title apparently isn’t brand new

Yes

It would seem crazy for such a old game.

Probably Yes, even is stupid to have Denuvo in an Online game, just wast of money.

the playtest build doesn't appear to have it, so im not sure. hope they don't though, i'll be canceling my preorder if so

The game is made for online play.
Even if it had no Denuvo and people could pirate it at best it would be like a Demo version of the game.
The price also makes me think they might not bother paying extra for denuvo protection and this game was released more as a promo for VF6.

Considering how many Sega games have ended up on GOG with no DRM at all I don't even understand why Sega is so intent on putting Denuvo in all their Steam releases.

Its a hope that the inability to pirate the game day one will encourage some people to buy it day one.

But don't people pirate games because there is DRM?

Honestly, if they were smarter, game would be free and it'd have crossplay.
Get a little playerbase and hype going for VF6.

I understand that but like Yakuza 0 though 6 are older games and are on GOG now. It would make sense for Sega to remove the Denuvo on these games on Steam. I get it for a while but at a certain point it becomes pointless. It serves no purpose at this point other than to annoy paying customers.

The EULA lists Denuvo. So Sega is once again moronic enough to put DRM in a heavily online focused game.
