xbox 360 controller NOT WORKING!

What happened? Gamepad is working in other games, but not in SFV. What should i do to solve this problem??

XInput-compatible game controllers such Xbox 360 and Xbox One game pad and arcade sticks should work right out of the box.

I'm playing on Xbox One controller and I can confirm that it works.
I did this:
Connected my controller to pc, started game and everything works. Didn't even needed to remap anything.
You can try to go to options in game and try to setup your controller manually.
Also, if that doesn't help, try one of third parties software, maybe that will do the trick.

Maybe this problem only on Xbox 360 controller, not Xbox One?

Before. And it's working in other games.

Is it on Player 2? It seems to only register if it's Player 1 (upper left light).

having the exact same problem. no controllers or fight sticks work on SFV anymore. they were working fine a week ago and I have changed nothing. All my controllers and fight sticks work 100% perfect on other games.

SFV Season 2 update in Dec. 2016 added new controller support and Steam added also new controller support features some days before.

Did you already tried to delete the file input.ini in the SFV settings folder?
Make sure there are no 3rd party D-input wrappers active and Steam big picture controller options are all disabled.
