XInput-compatible game controllers such Xbox 360 and Xbox One game pad and arcade sticks should work right out of the box.
I did this:
Connected my controller to pc, started game and everything works. Didn't even needed to remap anything.
You can try to go to options in game and try to setup your controller manually.
Also, if that doesn't help, try one of third parties software, maybe that will do the trick.
Maybe this problem only on Xbox 360 controller, not Xbox One?
Before. And it's working in other games.
Did you already tried to delete the file input.ini in the SFV settings folder?
Make sure there are no 3rd party D-input wrappers active and Steam big picture controller options are all disabled.
