Official SFV Bug Reporting Thread
Hello Fighting Game Community!

We hope you’re all enjoying or will be enjoying Street Fighter V shortly! While we hope all of our fans will have a great time with the game, there will always be some cases here and there where the game may not function correctly under certain environments and / or hardware combinations. That said, we’ve set up this feedback thread for you all to share any technical issues you may be having with the game. We’ll use this thread as a central repository for tracking these problems, and pass on the information gathered here to the development team so they can investigate and work on a fix.

Before providing reporting further, please ensure you've followed the steps below to rule out problems with Steam or the game’s files:

Check your Anti-Virus software
Some AV software may trigger a false-positive situation and flag certain executables from running. Yu can temporarily disable the AV software to see if the game behaves differently. If the game runs when AV is turned off, that means you'll need to create an exception rule to Street Fighter V.

Ensure game files are intact using Verify Game Cache

1) From your Steam Library list, right-click on Street Fighter V and select Properties.
2) Click the LOCAL FILES tab.
3) Click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..." and allow the validation process to run its course. Please disable or shutdown your anti-virus while this process runs.

This process allows the Steam client to scan every single file you downloaded for this game, verify checksum of each, and compare that against the file manifest data on Steam's content server. If the file is missing or has a different checksum value, you will receive a message stating "X files failed to validate and will be reacquired." What this means is that some files have either been deleted, or may have been corrupted. Click “Close,” and Steam will automatically download and / or replace the problem files.

Reinstalling your video card drivers
We also recommend making sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. Some high end integrated graphics chips and modern laptop class discrete GPUs may work but have not been tested, nor are they officially supported by Capcom

Nvidia GeForce Drivers[www.nvidia.com]
AMD Radeon Drivers[support.amd.com]

If you still experience crash issues, you may want to try performing a clean installation of the driver set. This will remove any extraneous driver DLL files or game profiles that existed with the previous driver installation.

Important! Lastly, please don't forget to reboot Windows upon completing the driver installation. This will help reinitialize the driver and the graphics card using the new driver.

Reporting crashes
If you still experience poor framerate, “slow motion” effects, crashes, or other issues, please help the dev team by providing detailed information below.

The more samples and data points we receive, the better we are able to narrow down and determine the root cause of these problems. Here’s what we need:

A) Your System Specs
1) CPU name & model
2) Name / model of the desktop or laptop (if available)
3) Graphics card / chip model and the amount of VRAM
4) Video driver version number
5) System memory size
6) OS version (Windows 7, 8, 64-bit/32-bit, etc.)
7) Anti-virus software name and version

Please make special note in your specs if you are running Windows "N" and "K" editions that does not come with Windows Media Player.

A good deal of this information, such as the graphics card model and VRAM, are available by running a DxDiag report. For more information on how to run this report, click here[www.fuzeqna.com].

Specific issue
Please share your specific issue and the location(s) where you’re experiencing the issues – for example, if you’re having problems with the framerate, is it happening constantly, or is it during certain cutscenes, during gameplay, etc.

If the game is crashing, it would be super useful if you can share your app crash log file via downloadable link using any one of the popular file hosting services such as DropBox, GoogleDrive, OneDrive, etc.

C) Detailed reproduction steps, if consistently reproducible
This step particularly is very useful for the development team. The more detailed info you can provide, the quicker the team can reproduce the error state and (hopefully) fix the issue.

Thank you for your patience and support!

- Capcom Customer Service Team

Please note that this thread is only for posting issues with the game and specifications; in the interest of helping the development team better investigate these issues, any extraneous discussion or derailment may be removed.

Hey everyone,

This is the issue I WAS having before (black screen upon launch, non responsive game window, steam store page focusing): http://steamcommunity.com/app/310950/discussions/1/405692224243527461/

Now, someone told me to try to launch Steam.exe as administrator, and this is the new issue I'm having: https://gfycat.com/MintyLongBichonfrise

As you can see, the game just instantly crash upon launch, without any error message. No more black window, no more Steam store page focusing.

This is super odd. When I don't launch Steam.exe as admin I get the black screen bug again. Anyone having any clue why this would do that? This is 100% reproducible, I can switch from one bug to the other by launching Steam as admin or not.

Hope someone can help me, or Capcom releases a patch soon, but the big issue is that they don't even have acknowledged that bug.

Thanks!

My specs:
- Windows 10 x64
- AMD R9 290X, 4GB VRAM
- 2560x1440p @120Hz
- Intel i7 4770k
- 16GB RAM
- AV: Avast Free Antivirus version 11.1.2245
- AMD Video Drivers Version: 15.301.1801 (latest as 02/27/16)

Fixes I already tried:
- Updating video drivers
- Verifying game cache
- Whitelisting SFV folder / completely disabled AV
- Running the game in compatibility mode / as administrator
- Launching the game by using the .exe in the game folder
- Renaming the intro movie
- Editing the .cfg files (changing the resolution, the fullscreen status)
- I don't have any tactile devices / touch screens, nor any drivers related to this.
- Deleting the files in \AppData\Local\StreetFighterV\
- Deleting all the game files and reinstalling the game.
- Changing my screen resolution / refresh rate (to 1080p@60Hz)
(and probably more I'm forgetting)

here's a comprehensive list of bug fixes and improvements that would make everyone happy:
  • Netcode desync and one sided rollbacks issues should be fixed (top priority!)
  • Favorite players list not updating player status correctly, when they're Offline, they still show up in different areas of the game
  • Win/lose/score screens waste too much time, unskippable - should be sped up
  • Training, Battle Lounge, Fight Request settings should save on exit
  • Message Log only accessible from Main Menu - implement easier way to accept invites
  • PC: no keyboard config, training shortcuts unavailable on keyboard (reset, dummy action..)
  • PC: benchmark and computer grades
  • PS4: Legacy Controller options burried in Other Settings, should be in first screen of Versus under Controller Settings
  • Offline Versus: only Player1 can select rematch/return to character select/quit
  • 8 Player Lobbies (when they will be added): support for multiple concurrent matches like in Guilty Gear
i will stress that #1 issue right now is this one:

there's a bug in survival mode when you get disconnected

instead of reconnecting silently and continuing as though nothing has happened, it ends survival mode and drops you to the main menu

this bug is crippling on hard/hell modes and renders them unplayable. please patch soon

I know this may not be a bug. But I hope it can be update/support. Thanks

I'm using Hori real arcade pro.v hayabusa

I Found that if I switch it to PC mode, the touchpad is not working. (Windows 7 can't detect touchpad)
If I switch it to PS4 mode, Street Fighter V is not support. (Windows 7 can detect it with touchpad is working)

Nice... now i just updated my graphic card and now it don't start.. just keep on the white stuff with ryu ¬¬
I changed my protocol to IPv4 only and the problem with the disconnections still persist. Even when I have my firewall disabled for the game.
Game Crashes when playing PVP. Says it's exiting and I may need to update my video card.

Already updated my video cards on 2/26/16, even uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted the Directory for SFV. still the same issue.

Specs.

Windows 7 Ultimate
Fx-8350
32 GBs of Ram
CrossFire R9 380
Eset Smart Security
Setttings are on Max
Using a Homemade Fightstick or Hori Ex2 fightstick.
Just got this error during a match. posted it here incase other are getting it.
I was then unable to alt-f4/close the crashed game window and couldnt interact with the task manager because sfv kept forcing itself to the front.
And it looks like sfv is still crashed on the desktop after a reboot.
EDIT: Actually it looks like I restarted it, but now it is a hung black background window on open.
EDIT2: looks like the crash on open may have been due to opening it from a pinned link, opened it from steam and now looks to be working again.

I can't read if you changed the Protocoll, or the Provider.
You personally only can control the protocoll from the PC to the router, which doesn't work.

When i looked at my router settings, it first was :

IPv4 --- ----
IPv6 connected xxxxxxxxxxxxx

After the change from the provider (which controls all after my router) it's :

IPv4 connected xxx.xxx.xx.xx
IPv6 --- ----

Still no disconnects, which i really don't understand, because it's a new game, and IPv4 is "old".
