I've attempted this DEP fix, but it doesn't care since I don't have the game stored on my C drive. Is there a way to make it recognize another volume other than C since I have it on my F drive?
Is Capcom working on a patch to get the program running without having to do all this DEP nonsense?
Just got the game and finshed downloading it, when i start the game i enter the loading screen and its slow as hell the capcom logo apears with the white back ground its super slowmotion and thats all it cant load any more it will be stuck in the logo.
I have a GTX 970 so the game should run smoothly
and i tryed this guide and it didnt help
If you receive a “You Can Not Set DEP Attributes On 64-bit Executables” error when adding the 64-bit exe, try the following steps:
Press ‘Windows Key + R’ (or click ‘Start’ --> ‘Run’) and type sysdm.cpl in the ‘Run’ dialog box. Click OK to open ‘System Properties’.
In the ‘System Properties’ window, switch to the ‘Advanced’ tab and click ‘Settings’ under ‘Performance’.
In the ‘Performance Options’ window, switch to the ‘Data Execution Prevention’ tab. Choose ‘Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select’. Click ‘Add’.
The file browser dialog will open, where you need to change the 'Look in' folder and set it to SysWOW64. Now type the 'File name' as dllhost.exe and click ‘Open’. By doing this, you will be adding C:\Windows\SysWOW64\dllhost.exe (assuming C: is your system root drive) into the exception list.
But the game will not launch. Running a AMD FX 8350, 16Gb RAM, GTX 960. Is there any soloution or is this the biggest waste of money I have ever spent?
