Error 2100d when trying to connect to servers
I've just bought a copy of this game from Amazon and I can't access online play. Every time I launch the game, it says it's connecting to the server, then logging into the server, then an error message pops up telling me "Unable to log into game server. [2100d]". To fix this error, so far I've tried: verifying the integrity of the game cache on steam, disabling the firewall in windows, checking if the servers were offline using the @SFVserver twitter account, setting up port forwarding and enabling a DMZ on my router. Following advice of another post on this forum, I port forwarded the following ports:
TCP: 80, 443, 20002, 30840, 30850, 30870
UDP: 30840-30859, 30870-30879 0859, 30870-30879

None of the things that I've tried have stopped the error.
My game is on the newest version (at time of writing this), Ver.02.060

I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thank you.

That error is usually related to specific router settings or ISP settings.
Do you have the latest SFV game version installed? currently v02.060 ??

Who is your ISP? and what's your region? is your connection on IPv4 or IPv6?
Try IPv4, if it is the latter and power reset your router for ~5 minutes.

You can also test your connection over your mobile phone (tethering), if it is a different ISP, just to isolate this error is not an ISP issue.

UPDATE: I fixed this issue by disabling the Virgin Media parental filter.

I'm glad that you can play normally now, and thanks for sharing your fix, this may help other players with similar issues.

I had this last night! (Up until recently I had googles dns set).

Thanks for posting here. I'd have been stumped for ages otherwise

I'm only trying out the game cause it's free on steam for the next few days. I had the same issue as you and i can say that this fix still works in 2018. Thanks for the post.

Are you on virgin? If so you need to disable their parental filter.

Even if not. Try changing your DNS to Google's (8.8.8.8) to see if that helps. If it does something similar might be happening.

I know its an old thread - but issue still there.. Its quite backwards for virginmedia-02 - I mean Mortal Kombat 11 works fine online, but they block Street fighter!!

I doubt virgin blocked sf specifically. It'll be some porn website hosted in the same subnet or something
