Main question: Do you think Akuma will make the first 16 characters...?

Personally I think there will be an Akuma DLC, which sucks as I main Akuma -_-

Just an added note. I don't understand why people find him to be a bad character, and when people say things like, "Akuma sucks, Dan Hibiki is where it's at," I just laugh. I've heard claims that he has no character. To me he has one of the best stories: to fight and gain greater power.

Akuma is way different than Ryu and Ken. If you use him like Ryu and Ken, then you will lose. THEN you will definitely say Akuma sucks.

Yeah, no one ever mentions M.Bison as being annoyingly strong. All his supers have huge range and do more damage than hadouken. He has an assortment of moves that make him stronger than Akuma if you ask me...even though he's been murdered by Akuma in the story lol

Akuma and Bison meat the first time in SF Alpha1. Akuma attacks Bison with his raging demon. Nothing happens because Bison has no soul.
What is complete nonsense since Bison can transform his soul into a new body. It's the Psycho Power that defends him from the raging demon and most other stuff. His Body got destroyed multiple times and he still comes back, as soon a new one is ready.

Also when his body in SFV is the same as in SFIV,then it's the posibility that the unfinished and rushed body he had in SFIV just get extremly fast old,because it is a rushed one.

The time Akuma defeated Bison was also a unfair match. He was weakned from the finalist of the SF2 tournament and after that fight Akuma killed him. The other fight Akuma had with Bison was a beating for Akuma.
So Akuma is not the god-mode villian,he has 2-3 moves which cause extremly damage but when someone can defend himself against this attacks,Akuma will lose the fight. This happend with Bison and would probably happen with Gill too or Oro.

Bison in terms of of storyline is one of the strongest fighters. Particular his Final/II/Shin versions. In terms of gameplay balance Bison has been all over the place in various games.

Of course his Super should be more powerful than a hadouken. Would be a rather crap Super if it only did the same damage as a special move. Akuma and Bison are roughly equal in terms of power in the storyline but Akuma has probably had more powerful versions in terms of actual gameplay balance.

Also his first alturnate costume in SF4 is suppose to represent the state Bison was in after Akuma ambushed him.

Does Akuma ever officially enter the tournament...? I never get the sense that he does :p Akuma has a feeling that everyone else is a weakling, Bison is no exception. Bison also expresses his belief that everyone is a weakling too lol

I watched the aftermath, but this also adds more nonsense to the SF2 story. The finalist was never confirmed. I collected a lot of information from different things, Wiki,fansites,Comics,movies,even arcade endings.
So far it looks for me that either Ken or Cammy are the SF2 finalist and Capcom still hasn't confirmed the finalist of SF2 and the aftermath adds just more confusion.
It was also most likely that Bison lost the fight against the finalist,as he tried to run away was he attacked by Akuma and his body was once again destroyed.

However Bison can take on Akuma and is probably stronger than him,then Akuma only won as Bison was in a bad condition.

Yes the finalist or winner isn't known. But as depicted in Super Turbo, Akuma attacks before the final and takes Bison's place as the final boss.

None of the Street Fighter storyline is very clear. Its all abit daft anyway.

Capcoms explaination for Birdie changing from a white guy in Street Fighter to a black guy in Street Fighter Alpha was that during the events of Street Fighter Birdie had the flu and was really pale!. I wouldn't take the storyline too seriously.

Also they killed Charlie three different ways. Threw him over a waterfall in Alpha 1, shot him in the back in Alpha 2 and he was blown up in Alpha 3.

It makes more sense than Blanka turning green because of a plane crash.
