they still exist and are used to cheat in online
I’d like to see recent proof of the cheating claims in SFV specifically if you happen to have any cariño, I’ll be sure to blacklist them. And no, the people who you’ve encountered that are constantly spamming a single move, like standing light kick/punch, aren’t cheating. They are specifically farming for fight money by using the turbo button on their controller to repeatedly use one move and setting the matchmaking to auto-accept. I’ve seen a guy with almost 300,000 overall matches in Diamond and an 11% overall win rate farming for fight money. He only played ranked until he hit Diamond and went AFC to get fight money.
And no, the Mysterious Mod doesn’t count either since it can’t be used online. Only visual mods are allowed and any mods that alter the base behavior of the game, like infinite health or regen gauges, will get you banned very quickly. So if you have recent proof of online, ranked cheating, I’d be happy to see it.
