Refund policy - Cash back to credit card or Steam Wallet?

If I use the refund function, will the money go back to my credit card or my Steam Wallet? This is very important for me, because if my PC can't play it I will invest in a stick instead.

Yes, every game that you purchased on Steam and and is eligible for a refund.

I used a Visa international CC. The money went back to my Steam Wallet, i didint complained as much since i do buy alot of games on Steam (and sure enough, the 30 something BRL i refunded got spent in 2 weeks).

Maybe the refund depends on purchasing method and region?

Depends on when you want the money, if you refund to steam wallet it takes only a few days in some cases for the amount to go back on your account, credit cards on the other hand can take up to 7 or even more days to see the balance returned, and when you do the refund if you qualify for a credit card refund it will give you the option to select that in the refund processing screen, if not then it goes to your steam wallet.

Steam wallet is quicker that way...if you want back to CC....it take days or Steam may denied your refund. I feel wallet is better for win-win.

I've always wondered if the choice you make as to where the refund goes influences if you get a refund or not. But I'm just being cynical...aint I...aint I.
