How do I get my Mad Catz TE2 fightstick to work on PC?
Hey all,

Im trying to figure out how to get my new fightstick to work on my PC. Its a Mad Catz TE2 fightstick for both PS3 and PS4. i have downloaded both SCP and DS4 and neither programs recognize that my stick is a controller. My PC however does recognize that the stick is connect and in devices is labled under "unspecifed". does anyone know how i can fix this?

on a side note
it works great on my PS4 so its not the stick.

you should be able to use it in ps3 mode on every single fighting game on PC, without any third party software, but SFV; unless you've got an ancient motherboard

you can still use the device in SF4... you just have to run third party software for the game to recognize it... you would think with the recent blowup with MKX on the PC they'd be a little more aware

Where did you see this? I have a SF5 TE2 stick that works with every fighting game I've tried and tried googling it but can't seem to find anything that says SF5 PC won't work with playstation controllers. That would be thoroughly bizarre if my SF5 stick works with every fighting game except SF5...

you don't need to use third party software for it to work in SF4, or anything else really.

playstation sticks are direct input devices, SFV does not have direct input support. You can also ask literally anybody who's tried.
