SFV Launching without D-Input Support (PS3/PS4 sticks/controllers) - tweet inside.
https://twitter.com/MadCatz/status/694215961491013632

"Mad Catz is working on a firmware update to include x-input as well. SFV (PC) will update with d-input post launch. "

"Like all PS4 controllers, @MadCatz SFV range does work with PC (d-input). SFV requires x-input at launch. "

Lol, "requires" x-input at launch. What a joke.

Cancel your preorders / new TES+ and TE2+'s while you still can. /hint of sarcasm but not much

As for using x360ce, xpadder, joytokey, DS4windows, etc. These programs may or may not introduce input lag. Do some research there are different results for each program. So your mileage may vary depending on what program you use along with the rest of your PC.

So I still have to use DS4Windows then? Well that sucks, but at least I have a reason to use it then.

DS4Windows, x360ce, joytokey, xpadder, etc all give you a couple frames of input lag. You'll just be at a slightly larger disadvantage on top of the lag and other factors. I guess that's cool?

Well this saddens me.

You are sure about that ?

I'm playing SF4 with PS3 pad thx to Motioninjoy DS3 tool, and I did not notice the input lag.
I did notice V-Synch input lag and disabled it though.

I don't understand the news of this topic.
Will Motioninjoy DS3 tool work at release ?

DS4 Windows gives me nearly no latency. It's below 4ms.

A buddy of mine ordered one of the new SFV fightpads, but he's getting the game on PC. is he SOL? I'm slightly confused about this, as well, since I use a stick.

so tl;dr if people want to use a stick without third party software that may or may not introduce input lag, they have to go back to xbox 360 sticks instead of the official sticks that work with the only other platform the game is on and every tournament will be running on?

well... guess Wacom and tablet owners are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at launch too now. Launch day is going to suck on this forum.

Ding ding ding! What a time to believe alive eh? A Sony published game doesn't support Sony compatible controllers.

well if the game launches like this and with the Wacom bug- my day 1 review is officially negative.

If you are using a PS3/4 pad you DON'T need a program... Here's a couple links, but basically you just install the right firmware/drivers, and use SCP for the initial set up. After that it's just plug and play. You never need to open SCP again unless you wanna see battery level or change controller number.

Best part? No input lag or spyware.

So how long before we start getting the conspiracy theories that Sony paid for the PC version to launch bugged so people buy it on PS4?
dro Feb 1, 2016 @ 4:46pm
@8BitHero

I would assume you have to have the fightstick in PS3 mode correct? I remember my PS4's DS4 not working with the xinput wrapper from here - http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller

Your links are jacked up btw since you put a hyphen right next to "http"

Are Xbox360 pad still working with this install ?
Or will the PS3 pads replace it ?

I unfortunately don't really understand the install tutorial...
