Also, the hands and feet are huge on purpose so it's easier to see them and decipher the hit/hurtboxes.
Note that in SFV, the vast majority of characters have a more badass appearance - when male - or extremely sensual - when female.
So it would be kind of obvious that the characters have so many muscles, precisely to impose an image of strong. Even women have muscles in this game ...
About big feet and hands, I make a comparison with other 2D games, like MK and KoF. Unlike these games, I realized that the fact of SFV of the big hands and feet to the characters allows to place more emphasis on the effects of the strokes. Thus, any Street Fighter hit seems to really hit with a strong impact, coupled with the graphic effects and hitboxes.
And lol at the dude who said this is the best looking Street Fighter game... This game doesn't hold a candle to the III series
