I recently created a guide referencing every costume (just missing screenshots for the CPT ones) with a secret variant so you guys can see which ones are worth you hard-earned cash.

General answer is: everything that isn't Default, Story, Battle, or one you get from Fighting chance.

Very useful guide I wish we had a button to use those versions as default costumes (just like the stages - at least, we have mods). Hope you can add the CPT and the exclusives costumes.

You can use that code between the rounds, to use the secret versions or to revert them.

Thank you for the heads up, I wasn't aware they decided to release more Extra Battle costumes. The guide has been updated.

Also, what do you mean by Exclusive costumes, Leonaura? I know the winners of some competitions got costumes that only they have but I was unable to find screenshots of their secret variants and considering we mere mortals can't get our hands on them I decided against adding them. Thanks for the interest regardless.

Onitsuka Tiger and the exclusive CPT ones.

Suzaku, Genbu and Byakko are a part of the prize pool at Suzaku Cup, Genbu Cup and Byakko Cup, but those costumes don't have a secret version.

The Onitsuka Tiger costume was an exclusive collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger and Capcom (the only way to obtain it was to buy the original shoes at Onitsuka Tiger online store. With the box, the buyer would receive a code card that would allow the users to activate the Onitsuka costume - or use a mod). That costume is similar to her Nostalgia costume, but with other shoes and with its own easter egg version.

And about the CPT costumes, except CPT 2016 (Necalli), all the CPT costumes from 2017 Guile to 2020 Laura have two versions: one for the public and one private, and, of course, with secret versions. The best is Laura's, who wears Poison's emblems.

The secret input for Ibuki should stay secret. That win pose without her mask isn't the prettiest. Thank god Capcom "forgot" to animate the mask removal with her nostalgic costume.

Well, thank you for the very detailed post, there's clearly a few things I didn't know about exclusive costumes.

I did some research and found a mod for The Onitsuka Tiger costume so I might add it in its own category in the future for completeness' sake.

I couldn't however, find any information whatsoever about the CPT ones. I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction.

About the Onitsuka Tiger, you're probably talking about my own mod I love that costume. The shoes are so nice.

As Kaed✩Wolf said, you could use a mini-swap to try those CPT costumes (that way, you can see that CPT costume on the first slot). Each of them has their own easter egg: Gill loses his facial hair, Lucia changes her hairstyle, Kage and Sagat lose his coats...

But you can't find there the private versions of the CPT costumes (Guile with NuckeDu's nametag, Birdie with MenaRD's hairstyle, Rashid with Gachikun's name on the back..) I have the Laura's one as a mod (the one with Poison's emblem as brooch), just in case you want to try it.

Also, thank you for the link and the info. I have never actually looked into modding SFV but it looks easy enough from what I've seen. And if it can save me from spending 50 bucks on CPT dlcs to finish the guide I'll certainly take it.

I wasn't able to find your Laura mod though, am I really that blind or did you post it elsewhere?

Bit of a necro to announce the CPT costumes have all been added which means the guide is now complete and up to date as of the Karin Hokuto patch.

Also, does anybody know if the UYU/NASR costumes have a secret variant? I doubt they do but I couldn't find any info on them.
