Search using Steam ID ???

CFN > Rival Search > Search using Steam ID

I try to look up sf5 on my steam friends list and i get zero results.
How does this work? does it even work?

Example: To find me you could look up...
Steam ID = DarkSamus12 or
Game ID = DarkSamus75

Either way should work

No, the Steam ID is the 64 ID. You need to look up at the bunch of numbers starting with 76561198 in the profile url. And yes, it works.

ok thanks, but what about players that have a custom URL without the string of numbers, like myself (ihira) or the above poster darksamus12 won't work in the search using steam ID.

You could use https://steamid.io/ to find the Steam ID.
In my case it would be: 76561197990450376

It's either right in the profile url or you can find it with Steam ID finder. They probably had to do that because not everyone has chosen a personal Steam ID.

Because it's 100% a debug menu that was left in place when they said "ship it". There is no excuse for this UX, a user should NEVER have to input the Steam64 ID, most users don't even know about it.
