He really isn't as tough as you think, you make him sound godly (which he is if in the right hands) but he can't hit ya if he can't touch ya.
When he keeps away, don't rush him. Wait for him to come to you, he's going to be doing a lot of lows, so what you have to do is sweep him (crouching heavy kick).
When he gets knocked down is when you have to rush the living hell out of him. He can't get pressure off of him unless if he does a V-reversal.
When he spits out a fireball, expect a teleport. The best thing to do is to mash jab, or time a medium punch combo perfectly.
If the fireball gets to close, jump backwards and do a heavy jumping kick. Trust me, it will reach him of he teleport behind you.
When he spits the fireball up in the air, you can do Karin's Ex shoulder move and punish him hard.
Basically block everything until he comes to you, if he tries to turtle you; rush him with your overhead special move attack.
That's pretty much it, don't become impatient.
With Nash vs Sim; throw out light and hard sonic booms while avoiding Sim's fireballs. Also learn their ranges so you can stand either just outside range or where they would connect with your feet so you can jump over them easily.
Do not chase Sim either, he has a normal to beat out any method you can close in on him with. So play more patient than him and make him come to you, then never get out of close range where he is least effective.
And to beat Sim's drill, just dash away, jump over it, or find out which normals beat it out-right from specific ranges. IE: Sim doing his hard drill (very steep angle), just step back and do a standing MP when he's lower.
Also when Sim slides in on you with MK or MP, he may go for a tick throw, so mash throw to break out. That or crouch jab if he does it near the tip of his slide.
And agin: Do not chase Sim. A great Dhalsim will just lame you out forever.
Yeah, but won't Sim just chip damage you and then wait for a time over victory?
Oh; and also Dhalsim have a VERY rough time fighting if you are outside of his jab, short, and c.Fierce ranges but well inside his other buttons because every attack he does besides those have a pretty long start up and you can just snuff them with strongs.
And as a good way to insult a tick-throw happy Dhalsim player; hit with MP LK then throw forward.
That's why you throw out your own fireballs with Nash. Nash specifically has a hard time getting in on Dhalsim due to lack of invulnerable moves. Only thing he has is his forward dash and relying purely on outplaying. He could do his EX Moonsault to get in, but Sim can just punch that or already have a fireball in place to stop its trajectory.
Also you can avoid Dhalsim lame out very easily just by learning his ranges.
As a Dhalsim player, it really annoys me how limited his bubble of damage is against patient or longer ranged players because it forces you to play more aggressive; and Sim is NOT safe, so that's not a good idea.
HOW AM I GONNA REK SCRUBS WITH SIM NOW?! :'(
