Cross-Platform Play, is it any good?
I've been holding out on this game trying to decide between PC and PS4. I've got an arcade stick I want to use but it only works on PC (I've tested it with other games and it works) and XBox One. My friend's getting it on PS4. So I'm trying to find out, how bad/good is the cross-platform play? If I'm on PC and he's on PS4 will we be able to play together or should I just go for the PS4 version?

No problems on the pc end; the one weird thing is that I can't find my buddies on psn, but they can find me. Not a huge issue, but annoying.

Cross-platform play is ok, played nearly 100+ games overall, never ran into trouble (lag, slowmotion, statter, you name it) with ps4 players.

I played 7 matches today a little over half were pc to ps4 and I only had one laggy round. 1 round, not 1 match, so I'd say its pretty solid for now. Gonna play some more later and see how it goes.

Every match I have vs PS4 starts out great, then they slowly start teleporting.

No difference for me playing against a PC user or a PS4 user.

I just played a few matches with my brother (he's on PS4) minutes ago, it felt like local.

Ranked vs PC or PS4 feel identical.

The one problem with ps4 players is that I imagine a lot of them use wifi, which is unacceptable in a game like this.

You have to train to deal with it I guess, still it can get annoying when you thought you confirmed into super only to have rolled back to being thrown from half across the screen, haha

Using the 5 bars only filter ive played against waaaay more ps4 users than fellow pc users and it's been super solid. One laggy match in ~40 games

PS4 players keep freakign teleporting. I keep it PC only.

Thanks for the replys! If this is the case, I'll go ahead and get the PC version next paycheck. I trust my PS4 friends to play with a good connection.
