Anyone running this in an arcade cabinet
That was my plan, but so far no luck getting the controls to work.

Problem is the controller setup is unusable.
-Can't rebind the keyboard keys.
-Doesn't support 2 players from 1 keybaord anyway.

No biggie I figured I'd use the Xinput hack to work around that like SFIV (and many other games), but even that doesn't seem to work...

So does anyone know of a way to make the Xinput work or another workaround?

So re-binding the keyboard using AHK or RocketLauncher is no good because the Player 2 controls are unfixable.

A new keyboard encoder profile doesn't work for the same reason.

x360kb & Xinput don't work, regardless of which .exe you put it in with.

Even VJoy doesn't 'effing work. Just seems to lock up control at the main menu.

Anyone else have any bright ideas I can try?
Sitting here with an Arcade machine and an un-*******-playable game.

I feel your pain. I'm currently standing at my arcade cabinet typing this, unable to get any controls working with SF V. I've also tried the Xinput hack with no luck.

It's disappointing as SF IV and SF vs Tekken both work fine. I'm not going to give up trying to find a solution, but hopefully Capcom will patch in the ability to re-define keys.

Yeah, I'll wait a few days to see if a fix pops up before refunding it. Just hoping someone figures out a workaround.

Same situation here. Please Capcom enable player 2 keys in keyboard. We can fix the rest. (Sorry for my english)

Yeah, just saw that.
However remapping the keys isn't the biggest problem (we can fix that now with AHK). Like Gorus said what we need is to have player 1 & 2 both playable and mappable from a single keyboard.

Without 2 players from 1 keyboard it won't work on Arcade Cabinets.

Yeah, I posted about it in that topic and in the bug topic.
Hopefully they patch in 2 player keyboard support quick. I only have 12 more days before I lose the ability to refund the game. Ha!

So I see they've had about 4 updates now, but none of them seem to mention any fixes for keyboard re-binding or (far more importantly) the ability to play 2 players from a single keyboard?

As-is it is completely unplayable on my Arcade Machine and I'm down to my last few days before I can no longer refund.

Works fine in my cabinet. My sticks support xinput, but I had no issues mapping them during the beta using KeyToJoy.

I'm using an IPAC (hardware keyboard emulator) so I can't use the joy to key software. Glad it's working for you though :-)

I've made myself an autohotkey profile (pasted below) which works fine for single player, so at least I'm able to play on my cabinet now using the standard IPAC mapping. Fingers crossed Capcom will release a patch that allows 2-players on one keyboard.

#NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases.
; #Warn ; Enable warnings to assist with detecting common errors.
SendMode Input ; Recommended for new scripts due to its superior speed and reliability.
SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir% ; Ensures a consistent starting directory.

Same issue here. It would be nice to be able to rebind keys to whatever we want, but it is waaaay more important to enable player 2. AHK can take care of the rest.

So last day before my refund window is up and it looks like no fix. Pretty lame Capcom.
Bummer because I really wanted to play it.

Well at least the refund process was easy and it still let me leave a review.

Unfortunately for us I doubt patching in keyboard binding is top of Capcom's list at the moment.

AutoHotKey does work great for single player, but yeah there's still no workaround for two players.

If you don't want to take a chance on what future updates might bring then I suppose a refund is the sensible option. Hopefully you can re-purchase the game again when/if they patch in 2-player keyboard support.

I've decided to keep it as I'm enjoying playing the survival mode on my arcade, and I haven't got any friends ;-)
