MSI Afterburner On Screen Display not showing
Is anyone else having problems with the MSI afterburner onscreen display? It was showing normally on the beta but for some reason on release now it just refuses to show. I already tried adding the StreetFighterV.exe to the RivaTuner list but no success.

It is also marked to work with 64 bit applications and it has worked with those in the past. I just can't find the reason why it's not working with SFV release build.

I tried opening the game by going on the steamapps folder and opening the SFV executable but doing it this way only goes to black screen and it stops responding.

I really don't want to have to migrate to something else or have more than one software for the same purpose. MSI afterburner is good and a lot of people use it. I just need to figure out why it's not working with this one game in particular.

And it used to be working during the beta too, I have no clue why it's not working anymore, I'll try to fiddle around, see if I can make it work.

You and me both. I'm still messing around and trying to figure something out.

Can you run the streetfighterv.exe? Here it goes into a black screen. The path for it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\StreetFighterV

No dice, black screen as well and Steam prompts me to download the beta. Same thing with the .exe in Binaries/Win64. Which is slightly perplexing as to how Steam even launches the game, and would also explain why Afterburner doesn't recognize the game anymore.

Nothing so far. I gave up like 3 hours after trying pretty much everything I could think of. At this point either someone comes up with a miracle or we just wait for a fix, if they are even aware/care about this.

Try to disable all Steam in-game overlay settings, specifically the one for Steam's input related big picture mode.

More details can be found in the updated guide here (invisible FPS counter issues section):

Alternatively check this:
>Run Steam in administrator mode
>Run your overlay application in administrator mode
> if your are using OBS >Under Game Capture properties, uncheck "Use anti-cheat compatibility hook"

Same here, couldn't get it to work. Its not practical to start steam in admin mode, something is messed up in the game.
