Can My PC Handle SFV?
I know very little when it comes to computer specs, I just want to know if I can play SFV, albeit at the lowest settings?

Processor: AMD FX(tm)-770K Quad Core Processor 3.50GHz
RAM: 8GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 705

I'm guessing these specs aren't good enough, but any help would be appreciated.

I don't think so

No it can't.

Upgrade your GPU and will be fine I guess. ^^

No, you will need a need new GPU(and probably a new psu).

Probably a new CPU (don't know if it matches the I3 4160 mentionned in the minimum specs, look for a decent FM2+ processor that your motherboard can handle), a new GPU and for sure a new PSU. Better buy a PS4.

Go here:
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/street-fighter-v/12910/

Run the tiny detection app. Let the browser redirect back to the game's page.

If you're on a notebook: Scroll down to see the specifics. Even if the "minimum" is a red Nope image that may be because the detection app thinks that you have 512 MBs of video memory when that's not necessarily the case.

I'm not familiar with your hardware but maybe this link will help you / others.

edit: fixed link?

Thank you all for replying. I followed that link, and apparently my CPU and RAM match the recommended requirements. My VIDEO CARD doesn't though, and suggests an upgrade. I know very little about upgrading computers, which is a shame, because I think it would work out a little cheaper than purchasing a PS4.

should be easy. The Nvidia Geforce 705 is just a card. When you open your box/pc up, depending on the setup it should be sitting in a slot. So you research what solid but budget friendly card can run SFV (or future games), make sure it can fit inside your box/pc without any hindrance and you should be ready for an upgrade.

No, your CPU doesn't match the recommended requirements. It's way less powerful than an I5-4690K. Good luck with the upgrades.

I don't think he asked if it could run the game with the max settings (recommended requirements), the minimal ones should be enough to run the game (with low settings though) as the requirements detected the cpu was okay

Not to mention it might work fine if he change his video card, as most of the job is done by the video card in games now.

Doesn't mean it won't run. If they give a minimal requirements, it's because the game should run with it (low settings though). Most of the job is done by the GPU.

Yeah, upgrading a video card is pretty easy. Just need to remove the screws of the PC panel, remove the video card from the slot, put the new one in the slot, put the PC panel back and it's done. Just look on youtube for a video tutorial to double check if you have any doubts but replacing a video card take only a few minutes.

I don't think it would be cheaper than a PS4 though. A PS4 cost ~350 dollars and if you want a pretty good card, you'll need something like a GTX 970 which also cost ~350 dollars. Then, it depend if you plan to play other games on your computer or not.

Don't under estimate that CPU requirement, SFV really needs that CPU for the animations and simulated physics (which cannot be lowered with any settings).

i can't say anything about your CPU i have a old I7 but my card is a 460 and it ran the beta fine.

The store page states the recommended graphic card is a GTX 960. I found this on Amazon for £165 (Roughly $240):

http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-Nvidia-960-Gaming-Graphics/dp/B00SKTY6PS/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1455240278&sr=1-1&keywords=gtx+960

Would this be good enough?

I'm very keen on upgrading my PC, but that said, here in the UK they're currently selling a PS4 with SFV for £300. It might be the better option, especially if my desktop can't run SFV as well as the PS4.

Anyway, thanks for the comments again, I guess I have some thinking to do.

The gtx 960 is the reccommended GPU. It will definitely run SFV with ease however. With that CPU you run the risk of bottleneck meaning your GPU will not run as good as it should be. PS4 seems the way to go. It should be a lot cheaper and it saves you a ton of headaches.

Don't listen to people saying no, trust me on this. Most of the work will be done by the GPU. Looking at your specs your CPU is roughly a bit better than the minimum requirements
Look here: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html

I ran two 280s(the card I recommended you below) on a i5 2500k(CPU) which is about maybe 10-20% stronger than your current CPU, and it ran them both just fine. So with that said, your CPU should be able to handle one 280 no problem. The game is also well optimized from what I saw.

And here is the link to the 280 I talked about, which is 10-15% stronger than the gtx 960 for the same price. The rest of your system is good.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Vapor-X-Graphics-Express-Display/dp/B00KRXU20I/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1455242792&sr=1-2&keywords=280

Also, you need to tell us your current PSU, and the size of your computer case. Because if the PSU is not strong enough, and the case is too small, then it might cost you $150 more (convert that to Euro).
