You reinstall something, it seems it fixed something, the week later the problem reappear. But I realize that making understand something to you is near to impossible. Donkeys are more reactive, I guess.
so basically... reinstalling, among other methods could IN THEORY, fix this issue? So wouldn't that help the OP?

No because theory has a somewhat logical meaning. Reinstalling random things has no logical meaning for this thing. So basically there is no theory. Just mere speculation. You can reinstall your WinZip if you want. It will have the same effect.
BTW, in an attempt to fix mine, I have reinstalled my Facebook client, just in case.

I don't see how its even close to comparible that reinstalling a game in the hopes to fix an error that crashes the game is the same as reinstalling winzip to fix sfv, but okay.

Assuming that the hundreds of people having this problem (including me on 3 PCs) have the game broken makes sense?

I have also detailed that there is no solution (user side) to a dangling pointer. Wouldn't you consider this a present? Man, you don't pay me, so don't even attempt to pontificate on how I should answer.

added to this

and then first insult of a long long list.

I don't think they're lying at all. I think you're just an idiot beleiving staying with Windows 7 gives you more privacy. I'm sure you have a gmail account, a google+ account and an Android phone. And I'm absolute sure your Facebook account is not even properly configured. Google makes even worse with privacy. But you use Windows 7. If this is not idiocy, tell me what it is. I generally don't discuss with little brains, but for you I have made an exception.

I won't quote all of your insults here. but you have been toxic all along.

yes you are not agressive at all and so adorable !

we should honor you with the peace nobel prize ....

One thing worth noting, at least to me, is that if you close the game from the desktop then you get no error message. Anyway, thank you for the info guys I'll try some of this stuff as well and see if it fixes anything. I guess it's not a big problem anyway.

1. I already upgraded to Windows 10, I told you this before, and embarrassed you quite well in doing so.

2. I don't have a gmail account, or an android phone (I'm against smart phones).

3. I use a "borrowed" facebook account, which I check the settings of frequently.

4. Windows 7 doesn't have built in systems that upload the contents of your emails, contents of your hard drive, wifi password, and doesn't sell that data to 3rd party companies (they would have to say so in their privacy agreement). Any telemetry related privacy issues that Windows7 has were back ported when 10 was released, and you know it. And there are ways to fix it in 7.

5. The irony of you calling my brain "little", while you're the only one who refuses to read the agreements before clicking "agree".

OP I went into the this game's folder and reinstalled the redestributables (Direct X and Visual C++) and the last couple of times I quit I got no error message so might be worth a try:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\StreetFighterV\_CommonRedist

Thx. I'll give this a try.

I played some SFIV, mostly at work, the reason why I only got a few hours of SFIV on Steam, and I was hoping to really get into SFV, but man, this community is the second worst I've ever seen. You guys be bashing on each other like crazy. Gotta tell you, it's really putting people off from seeking any sort of advice towards learning this game.

So, I'm guessing that Snowden is also prehistoric?
