Way to reset LP?

Hello everyone! I actually play on the PS4, but I had nowhere esle to ask this, so... yeah. Anyway, I'm trying to get 300 ranked wins with all chars. Almost finished with Dhalsim now. Thing is, my LP is at Ultra Silver/Gold, so when I start on Alex, I'll hardly be on that level! Any way to reset your LP WITHOUT reseting your entire CFN (in other words, all your wins and losses)? Thanks so much for the help! ^O^

I don't know if Capcom is still resetting LP for excessive rage quitting or not, but that's pretty much the only way I could think of.

Though I think when you start the new character you'll probably just lose until you get to an LP where you can win about half the time relatively quickly so I wouldn't worry too much about it anyways.

Thanks so much for your quick reply! So I guess I'll just hit training, versus, and casual to get my game up a bit first, just so I'm not totally blundering around in the dark! Thanks again! P.S. I've already done Gief, so I can wait to see how much better Alex feels lol!

If you have a controller with turbo just activate it, launch ranked matchmaking, put something on the X button and leave the console on. In a few days you'll lose your entire LP.

Why are you trying to win 300 matches with every character btw? Personal achievement? You only need to win 300 battles in total to get the trophy.

First of all, thanks for the reply! I didn't think of that... but I don't have a turbo controller anyway lol.
I'm trying to win 300 for the titles, actually... well that and just for fun, because I like playing different characters in fighting games and just grinding stuff in general. And playing all the characters will give me more knowledge of the game, and how to fight said characters. ^^
But speaking of titles, I got a blue title for Gief when I did 300... so is the yellow title 500? You know, like Rashid's 'Mentor' title? Anyone know?

I'd give the points up - I went back from gold to super bronze when I picked up Vega on monday. Did the same when I picked up Rashid, Necalli, etc... teaches you to not care about these things, to let 'em go and focus on getting better.

Thanks for replying. I must say, I admire your mentality, and you are absolutely right... it's good not to worry about the points, because doing so is a good way to get worse and lessen the fun (especially if you're a sore loser like me! -_^). It's just that... I never even thought I'd get to gold, so that makes saying good-bye to the points harder lol.

They don't have a description associated with them so they're one of those things that just happens while you're playing. The servers were having so many problems at the time that I obtained the yellow title that I can't be certain exactly what triggered it. It happened kind of out of the blue for me.

Wow, thanks sooo much for that info! ^o^ Yeah, the game is still too new for concrete information yet. And yeah, servers can be weird at times (like TF2 achievements lol).
Hate to ask, but does anyone know how to get those cute, colorful, cartoony titles, with just the charater's head? I have a bad feeling it's extreme survival lol.

If you're afraid you won't get there again, what is the point of staying there in the first place?

Yeah, you're right lol. It's just a little sprite that says GOLD/ULTRA SILVER, and really means jack squat... yet, to the silly human mind, something like this can mean a lot. I just gotta learn to forget it... if I can't get it back, like you said, then I don't really deserve anyway.

Aww, thanks for the encouragement! You're right! And if not with Alex, then with another character that's more 'compatible' with me! Just gotta keep moving forward! >:)

O.K., about that cartoony title I mentioned above... did a bit of research; I think Karin's for example, is Shameless Socialite. So anyone know how to get these? I love their design. Also, anyone have any input on the yellow titles (since you couldn't be sure thanks to janky servers, @Another ^_^)?
