got banned for no reason, what do I do?

I didn't dc once and randomly got banned, how do I contact capcom about it?

There's a bug that causes the servers to punish people if they quit training mode. I'm guessing this happens if they're searching for a match and they alt-f4 instead of exiting normally.

wow, thats really bad. I didn't get one dc and just randomly got punished. I also messaged capcom and didn't get a response. I can't recommend sf5 to my stream right now if this happens

Don't expect an instant reply on a Sunday when nobody is in the office... and maybe from now on shut down the game normally rather than alt f4 to be on the safe side.

no the timeout acutally happed like 5 mins after I finished my last match and was out of the blue

So you were disconnected from the server then? (Not intentionally I'm assuming, but a legit error correct?). This was during the "rematch" screen?

He said he didn't do alt-F4 though.

Yeah his name also says he doesn't play ranked... but he's Ultra Silver with ranked matches playing all the way up until yesterday... sooooo

You're right, in any case this needs more attention and clarification.
People who had video evidence of unapropriate RQ punishment got their league points back.

Provinding developers with video proof is also the best way to solve problems, which may happen unintended.

Just as a safety measure we should all save recordings of the last thing we did before closing the game. This way if we boot-up the game and see a ban message, we can email Capcom the video and they can check their records of our online activity.
