xoutput seems to be better than x360ce, as far as I've seen...
I read somewhere that xoutput has less lag than 360ce and it seems it does:) I just tried it today (just the feeling, didn't actually test anything in a technical sense) and well, I think it's actually noticeable just by trying out stuff in training room.
Which says a lot, considering me not being the sharpest tool in the box regarding reactions and execution.

And it's not placebo either. I tried doing simple things which I tend to drop, like canon strike and I did 10/10, whereas generally I tend to drop "regularly" (usually by just doing early jhk with the key data showing I pushed the button before I hit back on the stick, but I am pretty sure I am doing it after).
I also tried Karin's trial 6, which is very inconsistent for me and I had more success - but not definite success. Then again, that is to be expected from me, regardless of the controller.

So, just my 2c, nothing more. It does seem like one can actually tell the difference just by pushing normals also. Now, the normals thing might be placebo, as I didn't have a way of testing it, but I can swear 100% that the cannon strike is like five times easier and more secure with xoutput.

I've been using it since Killer Instinct came out on PC... although I was using joy2key before so I don't have a x360ce comparison.

Coincidentally, I also installed it for KI, as I got the game like three days ago:)
(and was pretty much disgusted by the whole hoop jumping one has to do to install it, buy it, configure it, the windows store, the whole orwellian feel of the account etc - but I digress)

Joy2key, at least according to the general interwebz tales, should be same-ish or slightly worse than x360ce.

You should also try SF5dinput and compare which one works better for you:

Can you share your experience with this versus others? Anyone else use this vs x360ce?
Thanks for posting it, seems super easy to use, drop a file and you are done?

I'm still using JoyTokey, which I understand is potentially the worst in terms of delay? I wish Capcom would just add dinput support FAST.

I also gave SF5dinput a go, seems straightforward to use, but the game just refuses to start up when I put the dlls in the folder. Same thing happens on two different systems.

I don't have a D-Input device, but hearing from others it is on the same level as XOutput, some devices work better on one or the other.

SF5Dinput is primarily for PS3/PS4 controllers, other D-input controllers may have different button mappings:

The developer is also helping with technical issues, like here:

I've been using SF5Dinput for the last couple of days, it seems less responsive than DS4windows, but it could be the new patch. I will switch back to DS4windows to see if there're any difference.
