Might be a little easier to do standing 720, but hey, it's a stretch. And maybe instant air gale.
If you want to build your own stickless controller, almost all PCBs now check for SOCD. And even if you come up with a controller that can send SOCD, now most big fighting games check for SOCD at software levels. I think the last big game that allowed SOCD was an early version of Marvel vs Capcom 3.
The input for a Cannon SPike is f, d,df. so whenever you do a forward before the qcf you'll get the cannon spike instead of a spiral arrow. This has nothing to do with playing on a keyboard.
This is the mistake most people make with a keyboard and whiffing the move. You can't just hit down, hit forward and kick. You have to roll your fingers from down to forward then kick.
In slow motion, it looks like: down, down forward, forward, kick. if you missed the down forward part, the move will whiff.
To practice it tai-chi style, assuming you're on the right side, hit S with your middle finger, hit D with your index finger while still have S held down with your middle fighter, let go of S while D is still held down, let go of D, press kick button. Practice it slowly (taichi style) and gradually ram up the speed until you can do it in under 0.1 seconds.
