Not that we are not 100% sure its 22 characters, but the leak of some concept art highly suggests that its going to be 22 characters.
There could be a scenario where some characters leaked will be DLC.
The flop of SFV was not the lack of characters, it was the lack of content.. single player arcade mode most of all.
SF6 seems to be putting this front centre with something that looks like a very interesting and fun single player story type of thing.
You sound like Randy Scott (google it). Video games don't get made like that. You don't press a button and the character is made. Each character is being redesigned from scratch.. from visuals, to animations, moves and everything in between. It takes a lot of work to bring each character to standard. 70 characters would mean the game would take 6 years to make.
