PS3 DualShock not working (also tried scptoolkit)
When plugged in a new DualShock PS3 Gamepad, only few Buttons worked but not as needed. Then installed the scptookit and nothing works. The Toolkit is running. Any Help?

Does it work on ubuntu / Proton as I would try it if the game runs as smooth as in Windows.
In my past experience the sony game controllers work better in ubuntu.

My OS now: Windows 10.

Just go to steam big screen and check the pad option. It should work fine.

Sorry it says "no controller found". Windows 10 Device Manager shows the gamepad and tells it is working.

The SCP Monitor says:

Pad 1: DS3 00:00:00:00:00:00 - Usb FFFFFFFF Charging

EDIT: after starting the scp server it says:

Pad One : DS3 00:16:FE:71:79:42 - Usb 000028C3 Charging

but still does not run. I tried Controller Settings (still no controller found) and starting the game. Restart / Restart Steam did not help.

Your other option is JoyToKey

Is the gamepad registered as an Xbox 360 controller?

In Windows it is shown as PS3 Gamepad. In Steam no gamepad is connected. Also tried big picture.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be registered as an Xbox 360 controller when scptoolkit is installed, maybe uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

Ok, I reinstalled Windows 10 and it is now working. I reconfigured all buttons and disabled them for steam control. But my pad shows now it has a small failure :( But the problem is solved basically.
