Do you think someone like Rog or G is a beginner friendly character or nah
Rog/G is carried online because you can't walk forward and block their rush punch on reaction online.
But you know who's carried the most online? Blanka or Honda
But ultimately you just need to get used to and figure out the major gimmicks of all characters (and individual players) before you can move up.
It can be really hard and demoralizing though, watching yourself get beat by absolutely dumb stuff because you can't believe and accept that someone would do the exact same dumb thing for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, etc. time in a row. And yet they have little reason to stop if they succeed even half the time.
I don't see how cammy is good or beginner friendly in low leagues (rookie - low silver). All the stuff you talk about (tick throw, setups, even combos) is not used properly or not used at all there. These (beginner) leagues are more a exchange of random buttons and specials so a high health+damage character makes more sense. A character which simply isn't good at lower levels is simply a bad recommendation for a beginner.
