Is Tekken 7 worse than Street Fighter?

I play fighting games on and off for fun. I used to love tekken but I don't know about tekken 7 anymore. I feel like SF5 has less bs in it.

Both game have a really different approach, it’s too hard to compare. Both are my favorite games, I like SFV a little bit more, but I feel Tekken 7 is more qualitative.

Tekken 7 Lore Story mode is superior than SFV DLC story mode and also i dunno about online but i pretty much heard about SFV that the netcode is ♥♥♥♥ balls compared to Tekken 7 netcode, so no Tekken 7 is not worse than SFV but then both in gameplay does their things

I did not enjoy T7. I put around 100 hours in but could not find a character I liked or clicked with, movement was hard, and the (at the time) lack of features to help you learn like replays, frame data, etc. made it a chore to learn. SC6 was a lot more fun and approachable for a 3D fighter. I still like SFV best of all three though.

T7 that game where they made basic training mode functions paid DLC?

No comment on gameplay, I've tried 3D fighters a couple times and didn't have the patience to learn them. The game did an atrocious job teaching you anything, too. I remember when it came out YT was the only way to understand wtf was going on with Just Standing and such and dudes making the guide videos lamented often how the game literally explains nothing.

I feel the same way about 3d fighters. I looooove soul calibur 6 but it's just too damn hard to learn how to play that game when 90+% of players just whoop my ass without remorse lol

Tekken is way harder to get into compared to SFV, but is also very much deeper. T7 is impressive in terms of gameplay, also the netcode has made huge improvements. However I have a headache everytime I play T7, because there are too many things to think about while in SFV options are much more limited. I'd say both are the absolute opposite but really awesome.
I'm a 2D at first, I really got seriously into Tekken 7 last year, I spent many years figuring out how to adapt to it and I was truely impressed. I'd recommand SFV players to give it more than a try.

I think it's fair to say that we need another Darkstalkers. A Street Fighter X Darkstalkers could give the franchise the push it needs.

Not really. Both games are great. I like Tekken a bit more, but not most of the characters. There is something I don't like about Tekken 7: bouncing, especially with some of the cast.
