Report a translation problem
If you want to do it while crouching, crouch by holding down-forward, then quickly let go of down without letting go of forward and do the rest of what I said above. If you crouch by simply holding down without holding forward you'll probably do a hadouken instead.
Example on WASD facing right: D > S > SD
While crouching: SD > D > S > SD
Don't listen to ShiShi or Somborr, if you try to do a full quarter circle after pressing forward, you're gonna end up accidentally doing a super and you'll waste your meter. You want to end with down-forward, not forward. DSD would be "Forward > Down > Forward" but the actual Shoryuken motion is "Forward > Down > Down-Forward"
