Ryu needs a urgent rebalance

Has somebody else notice that the very first rooster from the sfv 2 like ryu (mainly) zangief, ken, chunli, do a lot of damage in ridiculous movements and attacks and if it was not enough they´re capable of block many attacks (aerials, ground, specials) with another bunch of ridiculous movements, zangief can performance a 4 hit combo with the same button, and ryu (i already hate this character) can block an aerial attack with a standing light punch, AN AERIAL BLOCKED WITH A STANDING LIGHT PUNCH, REALLY¡ And it does not end there, as you know, when you perform a combo there´s a rule the more hits you connect, less the damage, am i right, well this characters are the excepcion to this rule, and i think this is very unfair for the rest of the rooster, because we have good looking characters that perform good looking combos but in many cases this combos don´t do the same damage as it happens with this crap characters with not well choreographed sequences, and for this reason many players don´t choose it.

I played this game for almost 8 months, and from the firt day to date, and the character i have fought the most is ryu, at least the 70 percent of the total matches. i was beaten many times in a rain of adoukens or blocked for this ridiculous movements i talking about.

Anyway i hope in the future capcom take a serious rebalance of this characters, because i think they must be the more beloved charaters in the game but for me is not like that, and i think that more than one player feels angry and frustation at the momento of having a match against one of this characters.

By the way i like to play with Mika, the problem with this character is that in every "rebalance" to date she has been affected in the bad way, her combos don´t do a lot of damage, reduced every time since the very firt buld of the game, and capcom took away one of her useful movements, (when she bounce the oponent in the edege of the screen) i don´t expect they change this but i hope they change the inconsistencies of the oher characters.

Ryu is considered to be perhaps the worst character in the game at this moment, along with the couple of others and that's pretty much the consensus. He almost never shows up in tournaments and 90% of high profile players have dropped him because he's basically not viable.
While not everyone agrees on everyone else's tier list, with time all those tier lists basically converge to each other and, let's just say Ryu is bottom 5 in all of those.

He is definitely being buffed in january, so I guess that's bad news for you lol

AA jabs are gone for AE (or at least, it seems so, Necalli's sLP gets stuffed very often, same for other characters)

Ryu has his donkey kick and his VT2 seems insanely good.

ryu is a good character. id call him a mid tier character with potential. its not the character honestly. its how you use him. when i jumped in this game i used him like i was using sf2 ryu. but then i learned him and he got me to silver in no time before i changed to main rashid who got me to gold. but im sure if i sticked with him id be gold as well.

there is only 1 character that should be debatable for those who have knowledge
it is guile. i own him sometimes. but if u r a non projectile main u will need tremendous patience and u may lose still. but then again i dont mind him. im just saying he is dabatable and rightfully so.

saying ryu is not good blows my mind a bit. yes he is having a hard time with this different roster then previous entry's but u can also be boss with him

He got nerfed so much in season 2 and still people complaining about him. I remember a dude who was complaining about his parry ability, ridiculous.

If you are loosing to ryu then you need to work on your fundamentals thats it, he has no mixups or crazy stuff, if you are getting hit by AA jab well you jumped in first place.

The only urgent rebalance that Ryu needs is to be removed from the game. Adding characters is unuseful if the vast majority of the scrubs only play this dumb ass. Only to be kicked in the ass hardly, so he doesn't give big satisfactions to his players neither.

He still has one of the highest damage outputs from a jump-in.
But thats about it.
