I suppose doing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial is not an option? Really guy, do you really need to open a forum thread to understand how to input a single special move? EX moves are done using 2 buttons, 2 kicks or 2 punches. Oh my, the world is at non-returning point.
A common mistake I see new players make is they think an EX move is done by pressing the same button twice.... that's wrong.
You need to do the move with 2 different kick buttons... so like quarter circle forward while pressing light kick and medium kick together at the same time.
I have read your post and the tutorial achievement suddenly unlocked. Thank you.
Sorry but I'm doing the SFV mission "Be an ass for 10 consecutive times". 100 fight money.
Only trolls and people who can't read get flamed, but you had a legit and fair question as a new player, and you deserved a respectful response, sorry that didn't happen this time.
But please, if you have questions, and they can't be answered in the tutorial then feel free to ask them :)
Be aware that some very technical characters like Ibuki have alternating EX version button combinations for different ranges etc.
