Man, just read the thread and you would know that this is an ISP issue.
I get a failure to retrieve data at startup and I am in the U.S.. Considering that all of my other apps including Hulu, STEAM, My PC, my PHONE and all other peripheral devices are connected, it leads me to believe that it is a server side issue with the Capcom servers NOT AN ISP ISSUE.
Simple process of elimination. The proof is in the pudding and the company is failing paying customers yet again.
Failing to receive data is not the same issue than being unable to connect to the cfn or getting random disconnects from the cfn right?!
We also had someone post a statement of a ISP which admits that there are problems on page 3. Most of my stuff is also working just fine but i also can't connect to twitch chat while i can't connect to the cfn server for example.
Simple process of using facts instead of your biased opinion.
I can't read all the pages on that Telekom link but all I see is them talking about Playstation specifically. Not about CFN. What facts am I missing?
seems like cus of coronavirus there must have been some bottleneck somewhere. yea its weird that it only effected capcom for me but apparently zwift players (the cycling turbo trainer game) also couldnt connect to servers.
seems to be ISPs struggled with services that just had poor infrastructure. so the blame is probably on both.
just my guess.
thanks to all ppl contributing to this thread however it was good to know the problem wasnt just on my end so thanks and be safe everyone.
to me it seems something got bottlenecked between a german ISP and something that connects us to the capcom servers?
The VPN Im using is called SecureLine from Avast
