yup, same here too... I'm in Hungary. not port forwarding issue, all setup good, sill can't connect to that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CFN server. Why capcom ♥♥♥♥ us over every single time they do something. They say implement and improve.... but give something and takes away twice the amount with the other hand.... ridiculous. I can't wait SFVI, if they build on this, with such quality. :S
Maybe we could make the next title a community game... everybody writes one line of code, we mash them together and see if SF6 will startup.... almost as high chance as Capcom do it right this time.

Man, just read the thread and you would know that this is an ISP issue.

I get a failure to retrieve data at startup and I am in the U.S.. Considering that all of my other apps including Hulu, STEAM, My PC, my PHONE and all other peripheral devices are connected, it leads me to believe that it is a server side issue with the Capcom servers NOT AN ISP ISSUE.

Simple process of elimination. The proof is in the pudding and the company is failing paying customers yet again.

Failing to receive data is not the same issue than being unable to connect to the cfn or getting random disconnects from the cfn right?!
We also had someone post a statement of a ISP which admits that there are problems on page 3. Most of my stuff is also working just fine but i also can't connect to twitch chat while i can't connect to the cfn server for example.

Simple process of using facts instead of your biased opinion.

@sbt

I can't read all the pages on that Telekom link but all I see is them talking about Playstation specifically. Not about CFN. What facts am I missing?

Yes, i think the problem comes from capcom/SF as well, i mean , EVERY other online game, including other capcom game like monster hunter works perfectly well, only problem is with SFV

its been working alright for me the past 2 weeks or so even tho ive barely been playing during peak times.

seems like cus of coronavirus there must have been some bottleneck somewhere. yea its weird that it only effected capcom for me but apparently zwift players (the cycling turbo trainer game) also couldnt connect to servers.

seems to be ISPs struggled with services that just had poor infrastructure. so the blame is probably on both.

just my guess.

thanks to all ppl contributing to this thread however it was good to know the problem wasnt just on my end so thanks and be safe everyone.

For me it's been good the last couple of days. I'm glad it's running properly again.

I played the last few days and maybe, possibly it got better for me. I'm not having any more problems with logging in and the game doesn't disconnect me randomly. No clue if anything actually changed. I only wish that Capcom would hire just one intern that speaks English and informs us just a tiny bit.

i messeged the twitter server account and they thanked me for bringing this to their attention but i think this was a routing/infrastructure problem or whatever problem thats probably way beyond a capcom techs paygrade.

to me it seems something got bottlenecked between a german ISP and something that connects us to the capcom servers?

I was having problems connecting to the game for almost 5 weeks, yesterday I tried to use a VPN and I was finally able do stay connected and play online. If anyone here is still having the same problem, try that and it might work for you as well.
The VPN Im using is called SecureLine from Avast
