Don't get a Hori RAP 4
Unless you plan to mod it. I got it as a secondary stick for my PS4. Now kinda regretting it. The stick itself is way too light and moves around on your lap. You need a table to set it on.

And the joystick.. Way too loose. If you let go of the joystick, it goes to the opposite direction. At worst it can cause a dash or a jump. So if you do want to get this stick.. Mod it. But I'd recommend getting a sturdier stick.

Oh, and if you plan to play a fighter with strict inputs.. You're in for some trouble.

I understand your pain, but have to disagree. I got a RAP4 a few months ago and was also surprised how light and loose it felt compared to my previous stick, but after about a month I got used to it and now prefer it as a go back and forth between the two on different set-ups. It just takes a lighter touch, more subtle movements, and time to adjust.

Might be true. But for me, it feels like a toy. The weight though is a real issue. Does not stay still.

Half of the people in Asia who own sticks have this stick. Pretty sure kazunoko came 3rd at evo using one. You should write him a letter to tell him its bad.

Might be a slightly different one. But this joystick I have, is simply not good. This isn't normal how loose it feels. It also isn't symmetrical.
