Scrub needing help with Zangief Volume 3 trial 2
I'm using an xbox controller but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

So the order is like this

Standing Heavy Punch
Heavy Punch+Kick
Crouching Medium Punch
Standing light kick
Piledriver

I am able to do all the actions but I can't seem to do them fast enough. The demonstration for this trial has a few double forward taps/dashes, one before the first action and one after activating the V-trigger. Is dashing required to do the trial? I was able to finish all of volume 1 and 2 but I don't really know what this one is trying to get me to do.

Dashes aren't usually required, you can usually cheese trials like these by pushing Roo into the corner.

Then again, Gief has probably the easiest trials in the game, so I'd suggest you learn just to get better at basic execution. Pads are perfectly fine to play with.

I did manage to get it done. I had to do part of the full circle motion while doing the standing light kick.
