literally cannot haduken any faster ken challenge 1
im a complete noob at street fighter so i thought doing the combo challenges would be a good way to learn. I'm trying to do the first challenge on ken and whilst i can to the jumping hard punch followed by the medium punch i always fail on the haduken. I cant physically do this any faster so what am i doing wrong?

Are you completly new to fighter?
It takes some time to get used to the motion inputs in 2D fighter, thats why Capcom created characters that don't require them for their base gameplan (Ed and Falke).

Just keep trying, you will get it eventually.

Are you waiting until the medium punch animation is finished? Try doing his hadouken as he’s throwing the standing medium punch. I’m not a Ken expert but I know you can buffer moves with most characters. Buffering means to begin doing the motions for your next move while the current move or animation is going on.

You can input the Hadoken motion while the MP is still coming out. Learning the timing on combos, and building up muscle memory to execute them, is a big part of learning the game. Generally, if the move doesn't come out you did it too early, if the move comes out but is blocked you did it too late.

Maybe tell us how do you try it.
Circle Moves can be tricky for new people, but you get fast used to it, once you understood how to do them.

So, first thing I'd say is that if Ken's first Trial is giving you trouble, ditch Trail mode for now and just use normal Practice. Then just try a good old fashioned Jumping Hard Kick, Crouching Hard Punch, Hard Fireball combo. The trick is to use the 'down' of the croucing punch as the initial 'down' of the fireball motion and start it immediately after you press the first punch.

At first, just flail at it. (If you try it with Ryu, you can also keep spamming the fireball motion to get a simple CA combo.) Once you start getting it to come out, start refining the timing of the motion. That'll get you a feel for how interrupt combos like the one you're struggling with work.

The reason I'm suggesting that you do it like this is that most veteran players can do interrupts like this in their sleep, but really explaining HOW you do it is very difficult. Once it clicks, you won't believe you ever found it hard, but until it does, it can seem impossible.
