play & own on both PS4 / PC?

I only own original digital game on PS4 with some season passes. I thought of buying CE on steam instead of upgrading SFV on PS4. Not sure how things progress from here on stream. Is anything shared between the 2 systems? Is anything in conflict? Don’t know how the logins sync for crossplay. Are PC/PS4 capcom profiles similar? Can I play against my 2 systems? Do I have to choose a new player id on the Steam side? Not sure what I can or can’t do as for my options.

It’s a little confusing. I suppose the account is locked to the hardware. Then factor in Fight Money, dlc assets, and other stats makes it hard to group together if the profile wasn’t locked by device.

PC profil is sync with your Steam account. There wont be any problem.

Yes you will need to give a fresh ID to your new profil/account.

You can play your Steam account and any of its games, including your SFV profil, from any computer/device that accept/run Steam.

if my steam account and psn account have the same username, SFV must then use something else to avoid a conflict right?

When logging into SFV for the first time you have to create a CFN account, it won't automatically use your Steam, or PSN, account information. And you won't be able to pick the same name with both, you'll have to at least add a "PC" on the end or something.

Too bad I cannot re-login using one unified account. Thanks for the heads up.

For me it would of been awesome to have one unified account if you have ps4 and pc but its separate accounts.
