Mayflash or Qanba or... ?
TBH it's not SFV that makes me wanted an arcade stick. I've been longing one for years but never took the plunge.

Playing SFV and watching people playing it rewake that desire to have an arcade stick.

I'm currently inclided towards Mayflash F500, but watching youtube reviews on sticks, Qanba seems to be good choice as well, albeit not as customizable as Mayflash.

Or do you have any other recommendation for sub $100 stick?

It's not sub $100, but I really like my Qanba Obsidian. If you're looking at the Qanba Evo Drone ( https://qanbausa.com/evo-drone/ ), it has Sanwa JLF stick and OBSF 30mm buttons like the Obsidian so should feel comparable, if not the same. If it plays anything like the Obsidian, then it gets my thumbs up.

Never played a Mayflash, so I can't comment on it.

Just beware that XBox One arcade sticks don't play nice with PC, at least not the Razer Atrox which Amazon will tell you is PC Compatible. It's not. The PS4 counterpart, the Razer Panthera, is PC Compatible, but not the XBox One Atrox.

I haven't had any trouble with PS4 sticks working with PC. I haven't had any trouble with XBox 360 sticks working with PC either. It's just XBox One for some stupid reason.

My Qanba Q1SW is sub $100 with Sanwa parts. If you don't need a stick with PS4 Certificate, I highly recommend it. It works well on PC and PS3, and also work for PS4 as legacy controller for games that support it (SFV included).

I don't know Qanba and Mayflash, but Qanba has good avaliations on internet and it's used for several pro players. However, if you aren't used to play with Arcade Stick, I recommend that you buy the cheaper option. If you really get to like it, so you can think to buy a expensive arcade stick like Hori, Razor or Qanba.

Qanba Q4 RAF user here, and before that I was a HORI user in the PS3 and XB360 era.
Never really had a problem with any of them after literally thousands of hours of use.

Had 4 or 5 characters in total get over 15,000BP / 4,000PP across all 3 consumer platforms during SF4/SSF4/USF4 to give you a rough idea of usage profile type like many of us here.

My weapon of choice now is the Qanba Q4 RAF since I migrated to PC.
Hasn't skipped a beat after periodic violence. I've bought a spare Sanwa JLF for backup.

One small minor thing is that the Q4 is slightly difficult to gain physical access to the innards.
A bit less so than the HORIs - but for the price, it's hard to beat...

Bought through Play-Asia. RIP Lik Sang.

Qanba 5-1.Quite surprising. Also watched some EVOs Qanba is actually one of the frequent sponsor.

Here's a bit about Mayflash F500

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TAXNpvGTWw

Just love the customizability. And the reviews are very good in most sites.

But since I'm not in tournaments or so, and I'm a gaming hermit anyway so won't be carrying any flashy standout fightstick anywhere.

Also less options means not having difficulties to choose one, as far as I know there's only F300 and F500, while F500 is the bigger one than F300 and support for PS4.

I run a Mayflash F500 and its probably the best I've found for the value. I have upgraded the stick and have not had any issues with it dropping inputs...been a good stick so far.

Between Mayflash F300 and Qanba Q2 Pro LED EVO fighting stick (PS3/PC) , which is a better option for SFV?

I got mayflash f300 and I love it. Too cheap for how good it is.
