It's low strong into light knee, light dp into super.
You are alternating between punches and kicks with each button input after the jump in, so just have clean motion inputs and I don't see how this could be a hard trial.
Turn on the key display and make sure you're not moving all the way to the forward position.
The trial is not hard at all, but the way the game registers uppercut motions with sagat's other moves is very weird for me.

Hold down, don't ever releas down, then cr.MP -> forward forward LK.
No motions required since the down button properly buffers the motion for the Tiger Knee. By holding down for the buffer the super never comes out. You only get the super if you release down and re-press it.
