Training stage is infact banned in tournaments because it's so fugly to look at and not good for spectator sport.
Some people think it reduces lag.
Ironically the laggiest matches i had were on that stage.
I think capcom fixed this isue so i dotn see as may traning stages anymore.
Althou 1 out of 20 people will proably pick it.
But i do hope capcom actually banns its use online in SFVI
Or designes an actualy good traning stage like make it an acual traning ring in a gym that just happens to have lines drawn on the flor for those people who use them.
That character has some much deserved buffs and is now much more fun to play as and against.
He also sorts out the wheat from the chaff.
If capcom truly only meant for the training stage to stay in training mode, they would’ve locked it down to that mode rather than allow people to choose it in some way. More people would’ve complained about not being able to choose it. Who is honestly paying such close attention to the grid lines in a casual or ranked match anyways? Especially when you’re focusing on trying to beat your opponent.
Since we're talking PC master race here, your best option really is to mod the Grid into a different stage. Let the scum enjoy their visual aid lines.
Imma do it.
While my PC handles them without dropping frames, too many people using slim/burnt out PS4s or laptop/ancient PCs WILL drop frames on those other stages. And since they're also typically the ones who won't see the lag because of how the game determines who gets rollback there's no way in hell I'm switching to a stage besides the training one.
So I suggest you guys get used to it, or complain at Capcom for the garbage game optimization they did, for all the good that will do you.
