my knowledge but I could be wrong. Prob to much hastle which one and maybe even in conclusion with what stage. Speaking of which must admit Ive used the purple Blanka carnaval alt with Seth's stage in SF4 after Mike Ross called out it should be banned in excellent adventure's.
There are grounds to ban costumes that are deemed to give an unfair advantage. Heck, companies like Capcom have in the past used the idea of potentially "unfair" creations to justify not giving full free color customization to characters in fighting games, instead offering only pre-made palettes.
But Capcom actually banning SFV outfits is honestly pretty unlikely. They create these things with full knowledge that they will be used online, and sell them as well. Further, banning one costume, or even one set of costumes, will open the door to people expecting other costumes to be banned. The Monster Hunter outfits aren't the only costumes to draw complaints of unfairness, nor even the first. And some of the costumes that draw complaints are Premium-only outfits, not just ones that were (mostly) free. Capcom probably doesn't want to open that can of worms unless it is forced to.
Heck, even the controversial stages were just that, controversial. Kanzuki Beach met immediate complaint not just for obscuring the ground, but for doing it on one side of the screen rather than evenly. And there was the issue of Birdie having a projectile that could be hidden by the water. As for Skies of Honor, there were players who literally became queasy when fighting on that stage. A stage that makes some players physically ill is certainly an unfair stage, particularly when your opponent can pick that stage knowing that does so.
The water in kanzuki beach can cover stuff like juris fb or birdies vskill drops (tin, banana).
ah of course. Thanks for pointing that out.
