it's not worth it
my first stick was lioncast, then moved on to rap5.
lioncast has a good stick but bad buttons. they can be rage inducing, but i got accustomed to them after a while. problem with the buttons is that - compared to a rap5 - you have to hammer them or you'll risk your inputs not to be recognized. also softly/slowly pushing them won't sometimes make for an input. most importantly though, you can get used to them.
i won't tell you which one to buy though. both are fair for their price.
Super easy to upgrade with Higher end Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons/joystick should you feel the need to upgrade them. As long as you are only playing on pc then the Qanba Carbon is the best pick. If you need Ps4 compatible then its not the one to buy.

Another option that I have yet to try is the Qanba Drone which has full ps4 compatibility and PC compatibility via xinput/xbox 360 mode (put it in ps3 mode for xinput, ps4 mode for dinput) The construction of the case is all plastic which is kinda meh versus the Carbon which has a nice top metal panel underneath a black plexi for some added durability.

PC only= Qanba Carbon. If you need the ps4 support then I'd say the Drone.
I originally bought the Qanba Carbon to serve as the player 2 stick in case I have guests who want to play (Not going to happen) so I've started using it off and on along with my Hrap3 SA. The Qanba Carbon hasn't impeding my ability to play how I normally do. I still win like normal and lose plenty like normal. Two thumbs up
Feel free to add me if you want more information.

This is the stick I'm using. The buttons are decent but the lever has an issue where down-right is not getting detected for a reason, but I think it's a defect and it shouldn't be common in all units.

I eventually had someone modded it with art and replace the lever, then eventually replaced the buttons as one of them got damaged.
This is the stick's current appearance.

The parts are not so expensive and you can use even a shoes box just for try out the arcade stick experience.
What i have done was getting a Namco Arcade stick for cheap like 30€ and because i hade a ps1/2 to usb adaptor i could use it on pc .
After some time after getting use to it , i decided to get something better without spending a lot more and i got a Madcatz tournament edition round 2 the only "problem" is being a ps3 model and not a x360 model.
My pc recognize it and uses Sanwa parts for 80€ on ebay .
Seach for good deals on amazon or other places if you wanna get qanba or other brands .
Madcatz does not support any more their latest AC so is not future proof .
It's cheap. About £70 in the UK> Easily upgraded with sanwa (or whatever) parts if you want and you can easily use a custom cover thanks to it's plastic cover that just slips off.
Sturdy with weight on it as well, with long cable that packs into the side compartment.
Overall, great stick, love it.

It's fairly easy with the Mayflash F500. Once you take out the ballttop (just screwing it) and the buttons (they just click out), the magnetic cover is just pulled up.
To make a custom cover, get a template from the net, make whatever you wnat to make. Print it, or my case, order some print company to send a "to scale" print-out.
Then put it under the plastic frame and cut around it, slip it in, put buttons ballttop back on.
It's pretty simple really.

If you're not good with photoshop programs PM and i'd be happy to make one.

Yes the Mayflash 500 is a good alternative too or the Venom too is around the same price and can be modded.
On Ebay you can find easily some bundles with sawna stick and buttons .
There is even Seimitsu but not budnles with buttons . Only stick.
Before go out and buy something take a look at the gates too.
Normal Japanese style game is square , than their octagonal that is more friendly that the square gate .
